Jump Animation

This character animation focused on the fluidity of sliding down a railing and landing with natural momentum. I emphasized pacing, balance, and small details like a wobble on the final pose to enhance believability. A strong study in character animation within 3D art. Character Interaction Animation

Inspired by a dialogue clip from The Amazing World of Gumball, I reimagined the scene with two coworkers—one with a secret crush that turns unsettling. Through body language and timing, I developed the narrative beyond the source material, showing how animation and characters can reshape familiar audio into original storytelling. Dialogue Animation

Based on GLADOS from Portal, I reinterpreted robotic dialogue through a human rig. Lip-syncing, body movement, and prop interaction (an iPad reveal) created a balance between mechanical precision and human expression. This project highlights animation and 3D modeling as tools for creative reinterpretation. Credit: Original audio and character from Portal (Valve). Animation concept and execution by me.

Reaction Shot Animation

Using an audio clip inspired by The Good Place, I animated a character’s reaction, shifting from surprise to sinister revelation. I added a subtle fourth-wall break, with the character staring at the camera, blending acting principles with animation to enhance storytelling. Credit: Original audio from The Good Place (NBC). Animation concept and execution by me.

Face Mask Animation

This project was a focused animation study on eye and facial movements during dialogue. I animated micro-expressions like shifting gaze, brow motion, and subtle facial cues to capture emotion realistically. An exercise in graphics and design that centered on nuanced character detail. Dance Animation

Referencing choreography from Teen Beach Movie, I recreated a dance sequence frame by frame, ensuring movement accuracy and rhythm. Syncing to music required precision in animation timing. This project honed my character animation skills, translating real-world movement into 3D art. Credit: Original choreography and music from Teen Beach Movie (Disney). Animation execution by me.

Walk Cycle Dance

Inspired by traditional Greek dance (Kalamatiano), this animation translated group circular movements into a line format suited for the model. By focusing solely on the legs, I emphasized rhythm, cultural influence, and clarity in motion design—an example of adapting real dances into 3D modeling and animation. Boxee Animation

This animation featured Boxee, a cube character without limbs. I used squash, stretch, and jiggle physics to make the character’s movements expressive and believable. Editing choices, like inverting colors for dream sequences, helped expand the storytelling beyond minimal design. A creative take on character-driven 3D art. Finger Puppet Animation

Using a finger puppet rig and environment I created, I animated a playful narrative of climbing escalator-like stairs, only to fall back down. The segmented body movements required careful timing to simulate a waterfall effect of motion. A fun study in animation and characters.

Mystery Items and Attitude Animation

Inspired by cats reacting to cucumbers, this animation focused on a character navigating surprise props. With exaggerated reactions and comedic timing, the sequence highlighted character interaction with environment and objects, blending animation and graphics and design into a cohesive short. Sneak Peak of My Portfolio

I mix imagination with intention—each project starts with your idea and grows into bold 3D art, animation characters, and design that’s anything but ordinary.
